From the Language Centre of the Technical University of Crete we wish you all a happy new year!

On December 4, 2019 the Language Centre was pleased to have Dr. Panos Parthenios, Associate Professor, School of Architecture,TUC as a guest speaker.

On November 20th the Language Centre had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Vassilis Kouikoglou as a guest speaker with his talk "National Energy Sustainability".

On Wednesday, the Language Centre was pleased to have Associate Professor Emmanuel Mathioudakis as our first speaker for this year's English Talks Series.

The Language Centre presents the 3rd OPEN MIC on May 24 - 13:30-14:30 with Ioanna Katsari.

On Wednesday May 22, 2019 the lecture of ass. Prof. Daphne Manoussaki (ECE School) with the title «Better Bass: Skip the Subwoofer, Hack Your Hearing?» took place.

On April 17, 2019 an interactive workshop led by Dr Eirini Daskalaki on the key role of cultural awareness as it relates to communicaton skills took place at the Language Centre.

On Wednesday May 16, 2019 arch. Marianthi Liapi, MSc was at the Language Centre with an interesting lecture titled "Designed for Better Learning (DFBL)". An innovative Approach to Improve the Quality of Public Schools in Greece.

On Wednesday, April 3, 2019 the Language Centre was pleased to welcome Dimitris Angelakis, Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, TUC, who gave a lecture entitled "Quantum Computing: An Introduction".

On March 27th the Language Centre was privileged to have Professor Carlo Bicchi from the University of Turin as a guest speaker with his presentation entitled "The Role of Chemical Analysis in Food and Chemical Industry".
